Any organized under-17 club team (all players born 01/01/2000 or later) of at least 11 players is eligible to participate. It does not matter on which level or in which league the team plays. If you are unsure whether you meet the criteria, please do not hesitate to contact us via e-mail.
The tournament will be played in three groups of four. All teams of one tournament group will compete against each other once. If there is an equal points standing after the group phase, the direct comparison will decide about who advances. In case of a draw, the goal difference will give conclusion about advancement. If there is a tie, a penalty shoot-out will decide.
The first placed, second placed, and two best third placed teams will advance to the quarter finals. The winner of the quarter finals will compete in the semi-finals and the winners of the semi-finals will compete in the final.
Number of players
Each team should have at least 10 field players and 1 goalkeeper. A team is allowed to compete with a minimum of 10 players. Each team may have up to 9 substitute players and substitute an unlimited amount of times.
A player is not allowed to wear any piece of clothing or item of equipment which is dangerous to himself or to other players (This also includes any kind of jewellery).
Duration of the match
Playing time is 25 minutes without break. If there is a tie in a qualifying round match, a penalty shootout will decide the winner. Each team has 5 attempts in a penalty shootout. If there is still a tie, each team will have on penalty each until a winner is decided.
If not specified in this document, the FIFA Laws of the Game will apply.
The decisions and instructions of the referees are not contestable. The referee has the right to ban a player from the game. Each participant (or team) who does not stick to the rules can be excluded from the competition.
